Jill is the author of five silk and fabric painting books, two of which have been supported by the production of videos. Whilst three of her books went into reprint and the publishing rights sold to the US, she published the fifth book herself. She has also produced Kits for beginners in Silk Painting and Batik. Jill has written many articles for Art and Craft journals.
Jill runs her own workshops, including courses for teachers, masterclasses, day courses and courses on line. She creates ranges of hand painted silks, including sarongs, scarves, shawls, fabric lengths, banners, wall hangings, pictures and cards. Her design themes are mostly based on natural forms and she specialises in resist techniques.
