Reverse Lever Falls Off During Use.

Easy to set up and use. Very good value for the money. I purchased mine to have a second machine around while my very old Singer is being serviced. My only complaint with this machine would be the reverse operation. For some reason they used a right angle plastic lever that tends to fall off or pull out of place as you are using it. So you have to make sure it's pushed back on before being able to use it again. I ended up putting some teflon tape on the metal part in the machine to tighten up the grip. So far it's holding. Had it not been for this one issue, I would have given this machine 5 stars.

I bought my Singer 8280 seven years ago for $80 at Target. I use it frequently for simple tayloring and sometimes for re-design. I clean and oil it periodically. It has been a wonderful support for me all these years. It is great product for the price.
